Frequently Asked Questions

I offer a free 20-minutes introductory video call so that we can get to know each other and feel whether we would be a good fit. The decision to continue therapy with me afterwards is entirely up to you, what matters most is that you feel comfortable and confident in taking a next step that feels right to you. I look forward to the possibility of working together and supporting you on your way to greater well-being. For any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to reach out. If you do decide to go ahead with therapy with me, you can book sessions here.

I offer both online sessions EU-wide and in-person sessions in Amsterdam.
You can book either here.

Online sessions are 50 minutes long and cost 85€.
In-person sessions in Amsterdam are 50 minutes long and cost 100€. They are more expensive as we split the fee of the room where we will be having therapy.

I speak six languages, including English, German and Luxembourgish in which I feel comfortable providing therapy.
If your mother tongue is French, Spanish, or Dutch, know that I can keep basic conversations in those languages as well.

Whether our sessions are reimbursed depends on your specific healthcare insurance plan. You can check this with you healthcare insurance provider. In the Netherlands, our sessions are not reimbursed under a basic healthcare insurance scheme, but might be (partially) reimbursed if you have an additional healthcare insurance plan.

Choosing private therapy offers quick access to mental health care. Unfortunately, waiting times for insurance-sponsored care in the Netherlands can extend to several months. Private therapy means you’re able to begin sessions sooner, often at times that fit better with your schedule.
Private therapy adds flexibility and personalisation in treatment model and treatment pace. Unlike standard models, private practice allows us to draw from a variety of therapeutic methods, tailored to your specific needs and goals. This multimodal approach means we aren’t limited to one type of therapy, allowing for a richer, more holistic process that adapts as you grow. Moreover, in private practice there is less focus on diagnoses and labels. While understanding your struggles is part of the process, I aim to see you as a whole person rather than just a set of symptoms or a label. As opposed to standard models, you have control over the frequency and duration of treatment, so therapy progresses at a pace that feels right for you—offering a fully personalised experience that isn’t restricted by a preset number of sessions set by insurance limitations.
